From a very young age, I’ve been intrigued by the English language. English and foreign language classes were my favorites, and it was no surprise to anyone when I concentrated on English classes at CSU San Bernardino.

In every job I’ve held, my language skills were put to use, even in jobs that didn’t center around written communication. During two decades teaching in a classroom setting, I assisted students in developing their writing and other academic skills. During those years surrounded by other educators, I also became the campus go-to person when proofreading or copy editing was needed, or even just to clarify a grammar issue that came up in conversation.

I would love to put the final polish on your great writing! I get energized when you give me the opportunity to enter into your world by way of your writing, and especially when I’m given your trust to make your writing more clear, concise, and engaging.

When I’m not proofreading or copy editing, I may be writing an article for a local publication, or working on authoring my first book. Other favorite activities include spending time with my family and friends in my small Southern California mountain community, volunteering at a non-profit, gardening, participating in my book group, or solving one of the many puzzles that I enjoy.

Let’s work together! You’ll be part of the process as I help you craft your best written work possible. Be assured that your writing will remain your very own—I’m committed to maintaining your ‘voice’. I look forward to your call or email.
